Nubra, known as the Valley of Flowers, lies serenely between the Karakoram and Ladakh ranges. Arrive at Hunder or Sumur by afternoon. Explore the beautiful villages and visit the Diskit Monastery. Overnight stay at a camp in Nubra.
Embark on one of Ladakh’s most captivating journeys as you drive to Turtuk, a stunning village only recently opened to tourists. En route, admire dramatic landscapes and remote villages guarded by the Ladakh Scouts. Turtuk’s history is as fascinating as its beauty— "On the night of December 13, 1971, the villagers slept in Pakistan. The next morning, they woke up in India."
